In-house Mechanical Design using our Autodesk Inventor ‘ULTIMATE’ Product Design Suite; enhanced features include Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Dynamic Simulation, Frame Analysis, Frame Generator, Tube & Pipe Generator and Sheet Metal Constructor.
All Electrical Design is carried out in-house using AutoCAD LT. All electrical designs comply with the very latest British (BS), Euronorm (EN) & harmonised Standards including Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, Safety of Machinery & Control Equipment and EMC Regulations.
All PLC Software Design is undertaken by our in-house specialist team of Software Applications Engineers. Electron Engineering Services has a wealth of experience in fitting Controls from most leading CNC System Suppliers including Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Bosch Rexroth & Fagor.
All Electrical Interface Cabinets & Control Panels are assembled & wired by our in-house team of qualified Electrical Technicians. All cabinets are designed & built for compliance with the very latest Machinery Standards including BS EN 60204 Safety of Machinery; electrical equipment of machines), BS EN 13849 (Safety of Machinery; Safety related parts of Control Systems), BS EN 60529 (Degrees of Protection) and BS EN 61000.
All Machine Build & Fitting work is carried out, in-house, by our team of Apprentice Trained Machine Tool Engineers. All our machines are assembled, built, checked & aligned to the relevant industry standards &, in the case of refurbished machines, to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tolerances & specifications.
Our Halifax works has been designed specifically for Machine Tool Build and includes two large (5,000 sq.ft each) Assembly Bays; each Bay is equipped with a 20T Overhead Crane (7m under the Hook) enabling EES to handle even the largest of Refurbishment or New Build projects. A smaller 1,500 sq.ft Bay, with 5T Overhead Crane is used for small CNC Retrofit Projects and sub-assembly build.
